Del Monte Foods is seeking applications for Equipment Operator/Forklift Driver employment at their Rochelle, Illinois facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position holds equal responsibility as a label line equipment operator / checker II in both the Label Line Department and in the Distribution Department
Primary responsibility will be to relieve the label line operators and when not on break relief, duties as assigned in both the Label Line Department and in the Distribution Department
Safely operate the palletizer, label, depalletizer and casing machines while ensuring accuracy of all reports and paperwork related to the job duties
Safely operate a powered industrial lift truck within all areas of the distribution center

Qualifications

HS or GED
Any equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
Must have 5-7+ years Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to pass a Multi-Craft Aptitude Test (Mechanical and Electrical)
Must be a current certified OSHA forklift operator
Must be able to work any shift and weekends/OT as required
Must be able to work in a quick paced environment, while working well with others and promoting a positive attitude
Powered industrial lift truck qualification
Must be able to climb stairs, stand, stoop, walk, occasionally to frequently
Must be able to wear protective equipment- Safety steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest
Must have the ability to carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
