Distribution Supervisor 2nd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing 2nd shift operations in Del Monte Foods' distribution warehouse, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate handling of finished products
Provides direct leadership to full-time and seasonal staff
Accountable for maintaining accurate inventory, optimizing labor and resources, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Provides direct supervision for the distribution operations hourly and seasonal personnel

Qualifications

4-year degree in Logistics, Business or Engineering preferred or
Combination of Associates Degree and 2-3 years of experience in warehousing or manufacturing
2-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehousing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel
Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Strong analytical skills
Previous Lean Manufacturing experience
