Seasonal Machine Operator

Modesto, CA

Our Modesto production plant in California is hiring employees to work in pack season approximately July through November. There are some positions that require worker availability in the offseason requiring continued availability to work. Starting pay is based on position and overtime is available after 40 hours. Hours are 8 hours per shift; 6 days a week.


We have a variety of positions available in Machine Operator areas on both our day and night shifts.


Label Line Machine Operator
  • Checks and loads label bundles into the machine
  • Ensures the labels used are appropriate for the product running and refills glue barrel
  • Completes all required in-process checks and associated documentation
Tray Pack Operator
  • Loads blank cardboard trays, shrink wrap, and checking glue levels on the machine
  • Performs product checks to ensure that the correct codes and barcodes are being used
  • Completes all required in-process checks and associated documentation
Palletizer Operator
  • Places cardboard dividers between each new layer of cans
  • Tracks can time/record results
  • Completes all required in-process checks and associated documentation

Qualifications
  • Qualified Applicants must have at a minimum, one-year comparable work experience in a Warehouse, Labeling, Packaging, Distribution Center environment
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions is essential to this role
